GLENMORE TRAIL

Starting on the week of October 7th, 2024, Glenmore Trail eastbound will be realigned to accommodate the construction of the new Glenmore interchange with Deerfoot Trail South.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

LANE RECONFIGURATION ON GLENMORE EASTBOUND
To minimize traffic impacts to the public, the existing medians have been paved and lanes will be reconfigured shifting eastbound lanes to the middle of the road, to utilize the median while work occurs.

OVERNIGHT WORK
Work will occur intermittently during nighttime hours (9 pm-6 am) to minimize traffic disruption.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
Motorists can expect to see median paving activities needed to construct the new Glenmore interchange prior to traffic being shifted.

TIMELINES
This temporary realignment will take approximately one week to be complete and will remain in place for the next couple of months.

SPEED REDUCTION
Speed reductions will be in place throughout the work zones. Please obey on-site signage and posted speed limits. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
