Piling work – Deerfoot Trail Improvements

IVOR STRONG BRIDGE

From approximately mid-November to mid-December 2023, several crews will be onsite in the area of the Ivor Strong Bridge to start piling work that is required to prepare for the 2024 construction season and the future twinning of the bridge.

Please be mindful of and obey onsite signage and traffic accommodations. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete these complex, multi-year improvements.

Deerfoot Trail is located within Treaty 7, and within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. We respectfully acknowledge the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations; the Stoney-Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations; and the Tsuut’ina Nation.
