BOW BOTTOM TRAIL
Temporary overnight ramp closures affecting traffic from Bow Bottom Trail northbound to Anderson Road westbound will be required to accommodate the installation of a water main line.
During closures, this ramp will be inaccessible, and drivers will need to select an alternate route. See maps below for details.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
OVERNIGHT WORK
Barriers will be placed to mark the detour and road closure. Water main installation work will be done overnight to minimize the public’s traffic impact.
DATE
The ramp closure will occur over two weekends. Traffic will be detoured during the closure to allow for travel through this area.
Weekend one:
The closure of the ramp will begin on Sunday August 11, 2024, for one night.
Weekend two:
The closure of the ramp will be reinstated on Friday August 16, 2024, and Saturday, August 17, 2024.
The road will be open to travel between closure dates. The traffic speed limit will be 40 km per hour through this area.
TRAFFIC DETOUR
Drivers are advised to plan accordingly, use alternate routes and plan for additional travel time during the closure.

Speed reductions will be in effect. For your safety, please obey all construction signs when travelling through the improvement area.
