BOW BOTTOM TRAIL

On October 15, 2024, demolition of an existing bridge on southbound Deerfoot Trail will start. Traffic will be detoured through the area as historic on-ramps from Anderson Road SE and Bow Bottom Trail SE to Deerfoot Trail northbound will be closed.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

OVERNIGHT WORK
Overnight work will be taking place, and crews will be working 24 hours/days to complete the demolition.

DATE
The demolition work will last approximately 7 days.

NOISE
Residents in adjacent areas can expect to see nighttime construction lighting and may hear noise from demolition work.

TRAFFIC DETOUR
Public members are advised to plan accordingly, use caution when driving through the construction zone or seek alternate routes.

SPEED REDUCTION
There will be a speed reduction to 50 km/hr on Bow Bottom Trail SE and Anderson Road SE in effect on approaches to the work zone.

For your safety, please obey all construction signs when travelling through the improvement area.
