How will Deerfoot Trail be improved in this area?

  • Capacity will be increased, and traffic flow will be improved by connecting 11 Street NE to westbound Beddington Trail NW and northbound Deerfoot Trail.
  • Capacity will be increased on Deerfoot Trail by adding a fourth continuous lane in each direction from Beddington Trail NW to Airport Trail NE.
  • A new storm pond will be constructed in this area to the east of Deerfoot Trail.
