IVOR STRONG BRIDGE

The Ivor Strong Bridge East temporary berm will be removed starting on the night of March 20, 2025. Some of the construction activities associated with this removal will include berm excavation for cofferdam removal, pile removal, concrete breaking and processing, backfill of the excavated area, and hauling of material.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

OVERNIGHT WORK
This activity will require crews to work 24 hours a day until the berm is completely removed.

TIMELINES
The berm removal will begin on March 20, 2025, and are anticipated to be finished by mid-May 2025.

ANTICIPATED IMPACTS
Residents in the nearby areas may notice increased noise and dust while this work proceeds. Water trucks will be on-site to mitigate dust.

SPEED REDUCTION
Speed reductions and detours will be in effect. For your safety, please obey all construction signs when travelling through the improvement areas.
