IVOR STRONG BRIDGE

Starting the week of October 28, 2024, rock excavation and concrete chipping will take place for approximately two weeks, at Ivor Strong Bridge east berm. Following this work, drill shaft foundations will be installed. This work will occur on a 24-hour basis for approximately two weeks.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

OVERNIGHT WORK
These activities will require crews to work overnight. Efforts will be made to limit rock breaking noise disturbance to daytime hours where possible to minimize disturbance to nearby residents.

TIMELINES
The work will start the week of October 28, 2024, and last approximately two weeks. Subsequently, the drill shaft work will take place, also lasting approximately two weeks.

NOISE
Residents in the adjacent areas may experience some noise associated with the construction activities.
